Naltrexone Sublingual Liquid
Naltrexone in a sublingual liquid may be prescribed for patients who may have a hard time swallowing oral capsules or for patients who may have a medical condition which does not allow them to absorb medication orally very well. The sublingual route of administration may be a preference for those who may have to adjust their dose quite often or who have not yet found their perfect dose.
Naltrexone may be flavored according to the patient’s preference.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a novel approach to decrease release of inflammatory substances, reduce nerve cell inflammation and autoimmune mediators.
Naltrexone belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid agonists. Naltrexone blocks opiate drugs from binding to the opioid receptors, which can result in increased endorphin and enkephalin release. Therefore, this results in reduced: 1. signaling and release of inflammatory substances, 2. nerve cell inflammation and 3. autoimmune mediators.
