What is Female Sexual Dysfunction?
Lack of sexual motivation or desire. Painful intercouse. No sexual climax.
These symptoms may be signs of sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction is a serious health issue and it can decline one’s quality of life. While it is more often associated with men, women suffer from it too.
Let’s take a look at Mayo Clinic’s description of female sexual dysfunction:

Persistent, recurrent problems with sexual response, desire, orgasm or pain — that distress you or strain your relationship with your partner — are known as sexual dysfunction. Female sexual dysfunction can occur at any stage of life. It can occur only in certain sexual situations or in all sexual situations, and may occur throughout one’s life.
Sexual response is not just about attractiveness or love or attentiveness. It is complex and mixes physiology, emotions, experiences, beliefs, lifestyle and relationships. When any of those components is disrupted, it can affect sexual desire, arousal, and satisfaction.
At Town & Country Compounding we do the best to work with the patient and the practitioner to offer other options for the patients.

What Studies Say About Female Sexual Dysfunction
A study on Female Sexual Dysfunction, or FSD notes what compounding pharmacies can do to help:

McCool ME, Zuelke A, Theurich MA, Knuettel H, Ricci C, Apfelbacher C.
According to a review of studies, female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is a significant public health problem that affects 41% of premenopausal women around the globe.
