What is a Compounding Pharmacy?

Medication is not one-size-fits all, and mass produced commercially available drugs may not work for patients for various reasons. Certain drugs, combination of drugs, concentration of the drugs, or specific dosage forms that the patient needs may not be commercially available at a traditional retail pharmacy.  A compounding pharmacy can customize the ingredients, strength, form, flavor, and more.

What is Compounding?

Compounding is the creation of a pharmaceutical preparation—a drug—by a licensed pharmacist to meet the unique needs of an individual patient (either human or animal) when a commercially available drug does not meet those needs. 1

WOMEN’S HEALTH

MENOPAUSE

During menopause, hormones (specifically estrogen and progesterone) decline and problematic symptoms may occur. These symptoms can be mild or severe and decline your quality of life.

Learn How T&C Can Help

Why use Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy utilizes drugs that have identical chemical structures as what is found in the human body. This differs from synthetic medications that can hold higher risks for complications.

T&C Compounding provides Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy customized specifically for each patient. Upon taking a saliva test, the patient’s results can be assessed and T&C Pharmacists can consult with the patient and set up a therapy regimen.
