Bothersome allergy symptoms in the fall typically come from Ragweed, especially on the East Coast and Midwest. The pollen can be present from August to November, with the highest levels usually in September.

Sometimes, Your Typical Allergy Medications Aren’t Enough.

Medications people typically take for allergies are antihistamines and steroid nasal sprays. Often, you may feel like your over-the-counter allergy meds aren’t touching your allergies and you are miserable and cannot go outside.

This could possibly be because of a high pollen count, or because your body has built up a resistance. Pollen counts vary by the day and by the season; when the pollen counts are high, your allergies get worse. Also, over time, new allergies develop.

Adding a natural product to your regimen may help with symptoms, and it must be taken on a regular basis.

Natural D-Hist®: Seasonal Allergies

The best way that may help address allergy symptoms is to start taking D-Hist® before the actual symptoms take over. We recommend starting D-Hist® a couple of weeks before each allergy season and then that’s all you may need.

Quercetin

Quercetin is a strong antioxidant, and is known for its ability to stabilize mast cells, diminishing the release of histamine, the compound known to cause allergic reactions during seasonal changes.

Stinging Nettles Leaf Extract

Stinging nettles leaf is a plant that balances immune response, specifically in the airways and nasal passages.

Bromelain

Bromelain is a plant enzyme naturally found on the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant. Bromelain enhances the absorption of quercetin and reduces circulating allergens associated with hyper-immune sensitivity and seasonal discomfort.

N-Acetyl Cysteine

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid precursor to one of the most important antioxidants in the body, glutathione. Both glutathione and NAC help reduce the viscosity of the mucus allowing for clearing of the airways and improved respiratory health.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that supports the immune system and is able to deactivate histamine. Vitamin C has many immune boosting properties, but is distinctively beneficial for individuals with seasonal discomfort because of its ability to deactivate histamine.
