Beauty Doesn’t Have to Be Painful: Topical Anesthetics for Cosmetic Procedures

Our accreditations place us in the top 1% of compounding pharmacies

Patients get non-invasive cosmetic procedures at various types of medical offices such as medi-spas, plastic surgery offices, and dermatology offices. Some procedures are a lot more comfortable when a topical local anesthetic is applied.

Practitioners often prefer to use topical anesthetic creams (instead of injections) pre-procedure to decrease the pain associated with minor dermatologic, aesthetic, and laser procedures.

Compounding Pharmacy Solutions

Town Country Compounding has unique ways for creating the best compounded topical anesthetic prescriptions for patients getting the Morpheus8 and other cosmetic procedures that are enhanced with the use of topical anesthetics.

Not all compounding pharmacies use the same formulas for anesthetic creams for procedures.

There are combinations of drugs that can be used at varying concentrations. For example, prilocaine, lidocaine, and tetracaine may be used in one instance, whereas a benzocaine, lidocaine, and tetracaine combination may be used for something else. It really depends on the procedure to what we will recommend.

What is Morpheus8?

As we age, our skin begins to lose elasticity, with wrinkles, lines, and sagging appearing.

Morpheus8 by InMode uses micro-needling and releases radiofrequency energy into the skin layers, causing the skin to heat and lighten. The heat stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid to tighten and smooth wrinkles.

Practitioners: See our Rx order form for various procedures that often need compounded topical anesthetics.

OUR FORMULA IS GREAT

Morpheus 8 is a procedure that utilizes a combination anesthetic for the most comfort; and we have had reports back that our formula is preferred compared to others.

Why Does Our Formula Work so Well?

Combinations in our Formulations = Synergy

The combination of anesthetics in our formulations work together to provide results. The strengths can be customized based on patient needs.

High-Tech Compounding Equipment That Removes Grittiness

We use an ointment mill to make sure the drug particles are in the smallest possible size. You should not feel grittiness in your preparation. Learn More >>

Consistency with anesthetic formulations

The pleasant texture and smooth application of our proprietary base will be consistent with each application.

PRO TIP

Give it time to absorb. Sometimes, people apply the cream and leave it on for only 15 minutes. It won’t do the job for most procedures. One hour is ideal, but the office should know best about what your procedure requires.
