Vasceptor® Formulation
Vasceptor® 8.5% topical/transdermal curcumin gel was developed with the intent to deliver the well-known anti-pain/inflammation benefits of curcumin. Active ingredient – curcumin 8.5%. Inactive ingredients: Myristic Acid; PEG.
Unlike traditional curcumin topicals, Vasceptor’s® patented formulation enables >100X more curcumin solubility. This facilitates substantially greater and sustained penetration deep into the skin versus conventional gel, cream or ointment technology.
Unlike curcumin orals, Vasceptor’s® curcumin accesses capillaries, our smallest blood vessels. Once there, Vasceptor® loads onto and into blood cells as well as into the plasma. These blood cells can then broadly distribute the beneficial curcumin which creates enhanced efficacy.
Vasceptor® Safety
Turmeric (curcumin) is generally regarded as safe by the US Food & Drug Administration as a nutritional product.
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human safety study of Vasceptor® (including at higher curcumin levels than marketed supplements) demonstrated that it is well tolerated by healthy subjects, with no adverse effects associated with the application of Vasceptor®. This study data is on file with Vascarta Inc.
Vasceptor® Effectiveness Studies in Animals
Studies using rats and mice have shown effects suggestive of lower pain/inflammation.
Among others, these include:
- Reduced pain
- Reduced systemic inflammation

Directions for Use
Vasceptor® is available only by doctor’s prescription.
Please follow your doctor’s instructions and tell your doctor about all other medications you take, especially including those for blood pressure, blood thinning and cancer.
Because Vasceptor® may lower blood pressure, we suggest applying it while sitting down, in case of temporary lightheadedness.
Using the Topi-CLICK Applicator
Vasceptor® 8.5% transdermal gel is supplied in a “Topi-CLICK” package.
To apply it:
- Twist the Topi-CLICK base until you hear/feel a click (Initially, you may need to click the Topi-CLICK base a couple of times to start product dispensing.)
- Touch the tip of the Topi-CLICK onto your affected body part which will allow the gel to be transferred onto your affected body part.
- Rub the gel in thoroughly using the tip of the Topi-CLICK or you can use a medical swab or your finger.
- Continue to rub the gel in until the Topi-CLICK has finished dispensing and the applicator tip is completely dry. This process can take up to a minute or more. To ensure that the total intended dose was received, be sure to check the tip for any remaining dispensed product before putting the cap back on for storage.
- Each click of the base dispenses 0.05 ml of Vasceptor®.
- Vasceptor® is highly concentrated, so only 1 to 4 clicks per day typically is sufficient. Each Topi-CLICK contains approximately 180 clicks of gel.
Avoid Staining
- Vasceptor® has a yellow color (like natural curcumin) and can cause permanent stains.
- To avoid unwanted staining of clothing or household goods, cover the Vasceptor®-treated body part after applying. Covering options include:
- A brace, sleeve or wrap that you do not mind being stained.
- An elastic wrap (e.g., Ace™ bandage).
- A suitably sized waterproof bandage or wound dressing.
- Athletic tape.
- To remove Vasceptor® from skin, wash with soap and warm water.

Example Areas of Anti-Pain/Anti-Inflammation Application
Note – Prior to dispensing the gel from the Topi-CLICK, be sure that your protective covering to prevent staining is prepared, ready and available for immediate use upon application of the gel.
- Knee
- Apply 2 clockwise clicks and rub thoroughly into the soft parts below and on the sides of the kneecap.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Hands/Wrist
- Apply 1-2 clockwise clicks at the site of pain and rub in thoroughly.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Elbow
- Apply 1-2 clockwise clicks at the site of pain and rub in thoroughly.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Shoulder
- Apply 2 clockwise clicks at the site of pain and rub in thoroughly.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Back
- Apply 2-4 clockwise clicks at the site of pain and rub in thoroughly.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Muscle Strain
- Apply 1-2 clockwise clicks at the site of strain/pain and rub in thoroughly.
- Use once daily as long as needed.
- Under the Tongue
- Apply 1-2 clockwise clicks on finger (with or without a glove)
- Vigorously rub it under the tongue for 15 to 30 seconds.
- Wait 1-2 minutes before spitting it out, swallowing or drinking.
- Wash the stained finger with a high fat (lanoline) containing soap such as Dove.
- This procedure can be repeated twice daily if needed.
STORAGE
Store at room temperature, between 59° and 86° F (15° and 30° C). Keep out of direct sunlight.
ADVERSE EFFECTS / CONTACT US
Stop use immediately and seek immediate medical help if you have trouble breathing, become very drowsy with slowed breathing, have slow, shallow breathing, feel faint, dizzy, or confused or have other unusual symptoms.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use if you are allergic to curcumin or any ingredients in the formulation.
Keep out of the reach of children.
