Doses for LDN are very individualized, and one dose does not fit all. Because of this, we offer titration kits so patients can gradually work their way to their ideal dose. We have helped many patients to not “overshoot” their dose by starting too high.
Our unique titration kits help with the success of therapy. We want to help patients identify the exact dose that brings improvement to their condition.
The titration kit enables a patient to start their low dose naltrexone therapy and slowly ease into the dose that is appropriate for them.
This medication requires a prescription.
Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a novel approach to decrease release of inflammatory substances, reduce nerve cell inflammation and autoimmune mediators.
Naltrexone belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid agonists. Naltrexone blocks opiate drugs from binding to the opioid receptors, which can result in increased endorphin and enkephalin release. Therefore, this results in reduced: 1. signaling and release of inflammatory substances, 2. nerve cell inflammation and 3. autoimmune mediators.
