Ultra-Low Dose Naltrexone (ULDN) in Oral Liquid

This dose of naltrexone is typically in the range of 2mcg to 100mcg and is often prescribed for patients who are currently taking opioids. In this ultra-low dose, patients have reported increased pain relief without blocking the effect of their opioid medication. Many patients are then hopefully able to work closely with their physician to lower their opioid dose. Patients have also reported a decreased need to increase their opioid dose while taking ULDN. T&C Compounding Pharmacy has pharmacists that specialize in this, so please call us to discuss. Oral Liquid form for patients with difficulty swallowing capsules.

Description

Town & Country Compounding Pharmacy is an FDA Inspected and ACHC/PCAB Accredited Pharmacy.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a novel approach to decrease release of inflammatory substances, reduce nerve cell inflammation and autoimmune mediators.

Naltrexone belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid agonists. Naltrexone blocks opiate drugs from binding to the opioid receptors, which can result in increased endorphin and enkephalin release. Therefore, this results in reduced: 1. signaling and release of inflammatory substances, 2. nerve cell inflammation and 3. autoimmune mediators.
